At Sketchbook Games we believe that video games are the ultimate storytelling medium. We want to make games that move our players and provide them with groundbreaking emotional experiences. We are working with renowned games writer Rhianna Pratchett on our debut game.

History

Sketchbook Games is a multi-award winning studio that was founded by games designer Mark Backler, who previously worked at EA, Lionhead, Kuju, Marmalade and Sony. The company are based at the Colchester Games Hub and currently developing their debut title in collaboration with Fourth State. The game is an atmospheric puzzler called Lost Words (originally The Last Word), which is set inside a diary and sees players solving a variety of puzzles using the words on each page.
